Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer emergency services?

Yes! No matter the time or day of the week, our team is available to help with your HVAC emergency. We place your comfort above all else and strive to bring priority service that gets you back to comfortable as soon as possible. Call us at 972-881-0020 to schedule emergency HVAC service immediately.

How much does it cost to repair my HVAC system?

Repair costs come down to the problem at hand, whether or not replacement parts are necessary, and a few other important factors. Because of this, a repair call can be as low as $100, or as high as $1,000 — but it’s impossible to determine the cost over the phone. Schedule an appointment with one of our technicians, and we can have someone out to diagnose the problem.

How much will an HVAC system replacement cost?

There are many factors that go into your HVAC replacement — the size of your home, desired efficiency level, the brand of the system, etc. — all of which are going to affect the cost of your replacement. Give us a call to schedule an appointment with one of our Comfort Specialists who can provide a quote for a replacement HVAC system.

What does the maintenance plan include?

When you sign up for our Residential Energy Savings Agreement, we visit your home twice a year and perform the required HVAC maintenance checkup that the manufacturer recommends for both your heating and cooling systems. You receive enjoy priority same-day service if a failure occurs. You will also get your maintenance service performed at a reduced rate. The maintenance plan does not include filter changes, however, we will change your filters if you have them. We also have filters available for purchase.

Why does my thermostat say “wait”?

A delay is used to protect your heating and cooling equipment from coming on too quickly (known as short-cycling), which can cause damage. The thermostat has a built-in compressor protection that prevents the compressor from restarting too early after a shutdown. If your thermostat continues to say “wait” and the HVAC system refuses to kick on after an extended period of time, give us a call.
