In some of the hottest temperatures of the year in Texas lor course the air was not working I properly. I called the original installer and there was days wait. I then called Total Air & Heat Co. I was given an appointment for the same day and was later called and told they could come earlier. The technician (Derrick) was fast and courteous. He found the problem within 5 minutes of arriving and had it repaired in 45 minutes. I am now cool in less than an hour and I’m a senior citizen so this was important. I will call them again with any future problems!

Had an outstanding experience with Total Air & Plumbing on O Ave. Scheduling was effortless, and the technician actually arrived a bit early and got straight to work. They clearly explained the repair options, worked efficiently, and left the work area completely clean.

Justin was very honest and very willing to share. Not worth repairing the 21 year old compressor. Here's hoping I can afford the new upgraded system!

Why Clean Your Dryer Vent?

A clogged vent does more than slow down laundry day. Lint buildup is flammable and contributes to thousands of house fires each year. Poor airflow also forces your dryer to work harder, costing more money on utilities and shortening the appliance’s life.

Warning Signs You Shouldn’t Ignore

Your vent might need attention if you notice:

If it’s been over a year since your last cleaning, it’s time to schedule service. Larger families or homes with pets may need cleaning every 6–9 months.

Our Cleaning Process

We don’t just vacuum around the dryer—we clear the entire vent line. Here’s how we do it:

  1. Safety Check – We disconnect the dryer, inspect the setup, and confirm it’s safe to proceed.

  2. Brush & Rod Cleaning – Long rotary brushes loosen lint, pet hair, and other debris.

  3. Vacuum Extraction – A high-powered vacuum removes the loosened material.

  4. Exterior Vent Service – We check the vent hood, damper, and remove any nests or blockages.

  5. Airflow Testing – Measurements confirm that your dryer is venting properly.

  6. Recommendations – If we find unsafe ducts or poor connections, we’ll let you know and suggest upgrades.

When the job is done, we leave the area clean and share before-and-after results with you.
