Highly recommend. My air conditioning unit stopped working the night of July 3rd. Our guest were arriving the next day for July 4th festivities. We contacted Total Air at 7 am (answering service assured us they would relay message when they opened at 8am) 8:30 am on a Holiday I received a call that they were on their way. They had our AC unit up and running within the hour. Can not say enough good things about the professionalism and promptness of their service staff. Keep up the great customer service!!!
We received outstanding service from Darren, Chris, and Jared, and it was well worth the price. They provided a ton of highly beneficial information and even caught several installation errors made by our original builder that should have been handled when the community was built. We are incredibly grateful for Jared’s immediate repair work—he saved us thousands of dollars in potential damages had the AC system malfunctioned due to the builder's mistake. Darren and Chris were also extremely detailed when inspecting our plumbing, thoroughly explaining how to prevent future issues. Highly recommend this team for their expertise and quick action!
I strongly recommend Total Air & Plumbing and have been with them for almost 10 years. Very professional and timely service. Today (on July 4th holiday) Alex Hawkey was my technician who came on time and explained everything clearly and fixed the issue.
Response from the owner:Thank you Sridhar!

Total Air & Plumbing (formerly Total Air & Heat) Plano, TX has been my HVAC service provider since 2012. Their technicians and customer service team are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I absolutely love that they offer a maintenance plan (I have the twice a year plan) for a reasonable price. This keeps my AC and Furnace in optimum condition, year round.
We had to have a gas pipe replaced before we could get the gas turned back on at our house. Total Air and Plumbing was out here quickly and took care of everything, even scheduling the city inspection and gas company reconnect.

What Are the Common Signs You Have a Plumbing Leak?

There are several obvious signs you may spot if you have a plumbing leak.

These include:

If you’re still unsure whether you have a leak, turn off all the water in your home and then check your meter. If your meter is still moving with the water shut off, you likely have a leak that should be dealt with immediately.

The Risks of Undetected Leaks

You should never ignore a water leak. Doing so can lead to property damage, high utility bills and other bad outcomes.

Here are some of the most significant issues:

Leaks near your home’s foundation are dangerous and can let water seep in, causing cracks and increasing your risk of structural collapse. Over time, it can lead to a complete pipe failure, turning what was a manageable issue into an expensive emergency.

What To Do if You Notice a Water Leak

If you’ve noticed a water leak in your home, don’t panic.

Here’s what you should do:

  • Shut off your water supply – By shutting off your home’s main valve, you can stop the water flow and minimize damage.
  • Inspect the area – Check for additional signs of damage like discoloration, mold, wet spots and musty odors.
  • Call a professional – A plumber can quickly locate and repair the leak before it worsens.

After repairs are complete, schedule regular inspections. Preventive maintenance can help you spot and fix potential problems early on before they get worse.

How Total Air & Plumbing Fixes Your Plumbing Leak

The source of most plumbing leaks isn’t usually visible, which presents a challenge. When it comes to leaks you can’t see, experience matters. Our technicians use a wide range of specialized methods to accurately detect plumbing leaks without requiring invasive demolition.

  • Camera inspections – We use small, waterproof cameras to provide us with a real-time view of what’s happening inside your pipe and sewer lines.
  • Pressure testing – By isolating parts of your plumbing to monitor for pressure loss, we can determine if a leak is occurring somewhere in that line.
  • Thermal imaging – Our thermal cameras can detect cold and hot spots associated with plumbing leaks behind your walls and under the floors.
  • Acoustic listening devices – These tools amplify the sound of water escaping and help us detect leaks located underneath concrete or underground.

This comprehensive and non-invasive approach allows us to quickly locate hidden leaks without causing damage to your home or property.
